Business Technology Integrators (BTI) headquartered in Upper Marlboro MD is currently seeking an experienced, motivated, and customer service-oriented Tier I Help Desk Analyst to join our team.
DUTIES: Responds to and diagnoses problems through discussion with users. Ensures a timely process through which problems are controlled. Includes problem recognition, research, isolation, resolution, and follow-up steps. Provides support to end users on a variety of issues. Responds to telephone calls, email and personnel requests for technical support. Document user issues through the ServiceNow ticketing system and escalates as required. Provides first-tier support to end users for either PC, server, or mainframe applications or hardware. Interact with network services, software systems engineering teams to restore service and/or identify and correct core problem. Assignments may be broad in nature, requiring originality and innovation in determining how to accomplish tasks. Contribute to deliverables and performance metrics.
REQUIRED: Associates degree with at least 1 year experience or at least 3+ years of relevant work experience in lieu of degree. Comprehensive knowledge in Information Technology service delivery. Must be a U.S. Citizen. Must be able to obtain a Public Trust.
DESIRED: A+ certification or higher, HDI or ITIL certifications.

Business Technology Integrators (BTI) headquartered in Upper Marlboro MD is currently seeking an experienced, motivated, and customer service-oriented PC Hardware Deployment Lead to join our team.
DUTIES: Excellent analytical, organizational, problem solving, presentation and writing skills. Act as Point of Contact (POC) managing IMACs (Installs, Moves, Changes, & Adds) activities. Lead a team of 4 IMAC technicians by setting performance expectations, monitoring performance, and addressing any performance gaps. Identify process gaps and document processes in the form of Knowledge Base. Perform process improvement activities related to IMAC. Responsible for managing and coordinating IMAC tasks, team schedule and projects. Update related deployment activity information to internal partners and stakeholders. Identify and address all deployment issues in a timely manner or as directed by Management. Work in coordination with the different teams to address hardware/software issues within the OS image. Process, assign to and coordinate tasks with IMAC and asset mangement teams. Update warehouse inventory records and perform regular (quarterly) and ad-hoc inventory and audit checks of IT equipment.
REQUIRED: Associates degree with 5 years' experience or equivalent experience in lieu of degree. Hardware and Software Deployment service and process experience. Hardware break fix experience. Asset management experience (with Sunflower or ServiceNow). Proven experience with imaging platform and technology (SCCM, Bit Locker Encryption). Experience with IT Ticketing System such as ServiceNow. MS Office/Office 365 Suite. Proven team leadership skills and experience. Solid organizational and time management skills. Ability to multi-task under tight deadlines. Strong attention to detail. Excellent focus driven on task/deadline responsibilities. Ability to work well in both a team setting and as an independent contributor. Ability to work under pressure and make sound decisions. Must be able to successfully pass all applicable background screening tests.

Our position requires extensive international travel to various US embassies and consulates around the world providing Wi-Fi Survey and Wi-Fi Installation services, including:
1. Overseeing, monitoring, and responding to complex hardware, software, and network problems using a variety of hardware and software testing tools and techniques.
2. Providing primary interface with contractor’s technical support groups or provides internal analysis and support to ensure appropriate notification during outages or periods of degraded system performance.
3. Providing LAN server support. Requires extensive knowledge of PC/LAN communications hardware and software in multi-protocol environment and network management software.
4. May function as task lead providing guidance and training for less experienced technicians.
Active Security Clearance required.
RCCD and/or BICSI Certifications preferred, but not required.

Our position requires extensive international travel to various US embassies and consulates around the world providing Wi-Fi Survey and Wi-Fi Installation services, including:
1. Overseeing and installing telephone, coaxial, and fiber optic cables, including vertical and horizontal cable pairs to the desktop.
2. Locating and diagnosing signal transmission defects using various test equipment and visual inspection.
3. Using tools and related test equipment, ground power equipment, and pressure equipment.
4. Prepares necessary reports. Communicates directly with technical and management personnel.
Min Education: High school
Min Experience: 6
RCCD and/or BICSI Certifications preferred, but not required.
Active Security Clearance required.
