Open Positions

Business Technology Integrators is looking for a Storage Engineer to be responsible for engineering and operational efforts related to data center operations, including server virtualization (VMWare) and data storage (Cohesity, Backup Exec, NetApp), converged infrastructure (Nutanix), data backups/restores, and DR/COOP planning and execution.

 

Responsibilities

  • Provide engineering support to automate processes to improve system optimization, storage monitoring, data transfer throughputs, and cyber security remediation actions to ensure timely responses to compliance requirements.
  • Manage multiple file storage systems across multiple networks; recommend and manage security group hierarchy to ensure least-privileged access to program data.
  • Identify incidents, diagnose and resolve problems, and assist with training users on storage usage and features


 Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree is required
  • 10+ years of systems engineering experience including storage and backups.
  • Must have an active Top Secret clearance; highly desired is a TS with SSBI within the last 2 years or Q clearance or SCI.


Business Technology Integrators is looking for a Business Analyst to support our Department of Energy program in Washington, DC.  In this role, you will have a critical role on our PMO team gathering requirements for all the proposed projects.


The effort will focus on a wide range of IT services through migration to the Intelligence Community (IC) information sharing, the secure cloud-based operational environment, the Intelligence Community’s Information Technology Enterprise (ICITE) along with an array of technical expertise and analytical support which allows DOE and the United States Intelligence Community (USIC) to detect, protect, mitigate, and counter hostile threats directed against DOE networks and critical national assets.

 

Responsibilities

  • Support business requirements gathering, business analysis and documentation development, and stakeholder review and assessment.
  • Work with customers to define and document business needs and requirements related to project initialization and execution.
  • Provide support in documentation development.
  • Support the PMO team in developing and executing an effective Information Technology (IT) Governance Process.
    Perform cross-matrixed duties to support all activities of the client.
  • Support the Chief Architect, Program Manager, PMO Lead, and Operations Manager in support of agile, high-priority PMO projects.
  • Under the direction of a PMO Lead or government project manager, spearhead the discovery and analysis of customer requirements and advise project management on project requirements adherence throughout all phases of project execution.
  • Translate stakeholder requirements into various documentation deliverables such as functional specifications, use cases, user stories, workflow/process diagrams, and data flow/data model diagrams.
  • Capture, define, analyze, and translate functional and non-functional business requirements into activity diagrams, system use cases and supplemental specifications that contribute to effective software development.


 Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 15 years of experience.
  • Understanding of all phases of the project management lifecycle
  • Ability to make effective presentations, create project documentation artifacts, develop technical documentation, and interact effectively in team settings serving multiple levels of stakeholders.
  • Experience in business process analysis and re-engineering
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite including Project.
  • Proficiency with SharePoint
  • Must have an active Top-Secret clearance with ability to obtain a Q and SCI clearance.


Business Technology Integrators is looking for an IT Asset Control Specialist to assist the IT Asset Manager in accepting deliveries, inventorying, auditing, tracking, and decommissioning DOE-IN computers, systems, and infrastructure throughout the property lifecycle.

 

Responsibilities

  • Maintain records and control of property owned by company, vendors, contractors, and government agencies.
  • Conduct inventories and arrange for disposal of obsolete or no-longer-required
  • Maintain auditable records of government-owned property located at the facility and associated vendor/subcontractor facilities.
  • Receive and process credit card purchase requests for IT equipment
  • Accept deliveries from the loading dock and coordinate approvals with Physical Security for end-use storage
  • Support lifecycle asset management to include audit response and asset tracking


 Qualifications

  • 5+ years of IT Asset management with a Bachelor’s degree or 9+ years of IT Asset management with a degree
  • Must have an active Top Secret clearance; highly desired is a TS with SSBI within the last 2 years or Q clearance or SCI.


Business Technology Integrators is looking for a Project Manager to oversee Enterprise Information Technology support services for the Department of Energy’s Office of Intelligence and Counterintelligence (IN) including Infrastructure Engineering, System Management and Hosting, Desktop Support, Service Desk Support, and IT Project Management.

 

Responsibilities

  • Define and manage project management processes and champion ongoing process improvement initiatives to implement best practices for Agile Project Management utilizing Jira/Confluence
  • Plan, develop, manage, and deploy software development activities and projects throughout the entire development lifecycle using agile management methodologies.
  • Work with the users and network team to determine project requirements, scope, timeline, and budget and to monitor and track change requests.
  • Develop work plans, estimates, and schedules and directs and assign tasks.
  • Conduct project meetings with the development team and customer stakeholders and interface with other teams such as the operations and security teams to meet project requirements.
  • Apply Project Management skills such as budget monitoring, schedule development, quality & issue management, scope and resource management, stakeholder and communications management
  • Apply technical skills to a range of topics that include SharePoint development, EOL tech refresh efforts, help desk, and modernization/deployment support
  • Engage client personnel across site and lab environments to understand specific system and functional requirements
  • Proactively report project risk and deliverable issues to Program Manager for assistance as soon as possible


 Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree is required, Master’s degree in an IT-related discipline is desired.
  • 10+ of Program/Project management experience
  • PMP certification is required.
  • Must have an active Top Secret clearance; highly desired is a TS with SSBI within the last 2 years or Q clearance or SCI.
  • Possess certifications associated with IT governance and security is desired 


Business Technology Integrators is looking for a Service Operations Manager to serve as the single point of contact for the prime contractor and Federal executives regarding all IT infrastructure & operations activities including the planning and delivery of operations associated with the TS/SCI, Secret Level, and Unclassified systems and infrastructure.

 

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of server and network managers and engineers, infrastructure architects, VTC engineers, application developers, project managers, and help desk personnel supporting the agency and mission within the Intelligence Community
  • Provide direct oversight and responsibility of the organization's data centers, servers, networks, firewalls, storage, converged infrastructure, cloud (C2S/C2E), VDI, and desktop computing environments
  • Oversee the daily support and operations of the DOE Intelligence Community IT systems and applications including support of DOE National Lab environments


 Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree is required

Business Technology Integrators is looking for a Sr VMWare Engineer to directly support ongoing virtual operations of DOE data centers, servers, networks, firewalls, storage, cloud (C2S), VDI, and desktop computing environments, as well as the development of strategic cloud modernization solutions. 


The Department of Energy (DOE) Office of Intelligence and Counterintelligence (IN) represents and oversees the intelligence and counterintelligence activities of the entire DOE complex and plays an integral role in supporting the national security mission by responding to foreign and domestic threats against U.S. national security interests, including risks and threats to U.S. energy security (nuclear and non-nuclear) resources.

 

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the administrative and design tasks for the virtualized server infrastructure
  • Deploy, configure, and maintain VMware infrastructure
  • Enterprise Cloud Management and Administration (VMware vRA)
  • Manage Enterprise Virtual Systems and Networks (VMwarevROPS)
  • Provide support for Virtualization Infrastructure (VMware vSphere)
  • Design, implement, and maintain VDI Infrastructure (VMware Horizon)
  • Monitor the performance of VMware vSphere and VDI infrastructure

 Qualifications

The Proposal Manager must have proven ability in planning, producing, and delivering compliant proposals within a complex business environment. The Proposal Manager will be experienced in scheduling and running proposal kick-off meetings, leading storyboarding sessions, facilitating key review meetings / final document review, co-ordinating proposal governance/sign-off, document production, and delivery of the completed proposal. Applicant should have experience in designing, managing, and updating a Content Library or Proposal Automation Solution. 

 

Responsibilities

  • Delivery of compliant, professionally produced proposals within customer-defined timeframes.
  • Coordinate and review/edit proposal input from a variety of stakeholders, typically involving contributions from SMEs, contracts, HR, etc.
  • Communicate and influence at a senior level.
  • Ability to coach the team in persuasive writing and proposal best practices.
  • Proposal automation and tracking software (or similar) experience.
  • Document template management in line with company branding.
  • Strong time management/prioritization skills.
  • Strong written English language skills.


 Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience managing federal proposals. 
  • Preferred APMP Foundation/Capture (Practitioner or Professional level desirable) or PMP
  • Advanced MS Word / Powerpoint skills & proficiency in MS Office 


Role & Responsibilities

  • Extensive knowledge of the Federal Acquisitions Regulations and the Federal Government budgeting process. 
  • Ability to work and effectively communicate with Contracting Officers, Contracting Officer’s Representative(s), Contracting Officer Technical Representative(s), technical managers, contractor and subcontractor task managers, staff, and others. 
  • Ability to assemble and lead a full range of technical and administrative staff necessary to accomplish the full spectrum of work. 
  • Demonstrated ability to approach projects focusing on process improvement and introducing innovative solutions. 
  • Sound technical experience in the following areas:
    • Large-scale statistical surveys, preferably energy or economic-based.
    • Energy or economic analysis and forecasting utilizing complex models.
    • Outreach, communication, and promotion of products and services.
    • Information technology, specifically database and software application development.


 Qualifications

  • Seven (7) years of experience leading and directing an interdisciplinary project, including the following activities: project planning, budgeting and cost monitoring, quality surveillance and problem resolution, on-schedule delivery of products and services and activity reporting, and staff recruiting, hiring, and staff development. Such experience must include leading and directing multiple, complex Task Orders simultaneously.
  • Five (5) years of project management experience on Federal Government contracts.
  • Master’s Degree 
  • Project Management Institute (PMI) Certificate as a Project Management      Professional (PMP) or Equivalent Certification

 Qualifications

Advanced degree desired with eight to ten years of marketing experience in a federal and/or commercial contracting environment, along with a minimum of 5 years’ technical proposal writing experience.

  • Leads proposal management and development for contract vehicle and transactional business pursuits in support of corporate initiatives and our clients’ public sector business 
  • Leads resources toward developing and delivering winning solicitation responses 
  • Drives proposal activities and teams through an entire pursuit lifecycle. 
  • Assist in managing and directing all proposal efforts and personnel 
  • Builds and updates requirements matrices. 
  • Develops and manages proposal schedules and outlines. 
  • Leads proposal writing, compiling, and editing with input from stakeholders. 
  • Schedules and supports color team reviews 
  • Leads pre-solicitation responses (RFI, RFP) 
  • Coordinates teaming efforts and agreements 
  • Manages data calls and captures team communications. 
  • Leads the development of an integrated offering and works to ensure win strategies and compliant offerings are reflected in the submitted proposal.  
  • Assists in the development and execution of strategic and tactical plans, both short and long-range, for the pursuit and successful capture of key opportunities and collection of opportunities.  
  • Applies disciplined methods to capture a current understanding of critical customers’ program goals, competitive market assessment, and winning strategy translation to the development of the proposed offering. 
  • Develops and assists in the execution of customer contact plans related to the capture pursuit. 
  • Sets communicates, and gains approval for bid teaming strategy and facilitates negotiation and documentation of teaming agreements. 
  • Contribute as a strategic thought leader, discussion- and decision-driver through the capture process developing and presenting capture plan activities and results to the internal executive leadership team.
