Duties and Responsibilities:
go-bti is looking for a Desktop Support Engineer to support the Department of Energy in their DC headquarters.  You will provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 Desktop, VDI, Win10, software, application and network support.

The effort will focus on a wide range of IT services through migration to the Intelligence Community (IC) information sharing, secure cloud-based operational environment, the Intelligence Community’s Information Technology Enterprise (ICITE) along with an array of technical expertise and analytical support which allows DOE and the United States Intelligence Community (USIC) to detect, protect, mitigate, and counter hostile threats directed against DOE networks and critical national assets.

Responsibilities

  • Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 Help Desk support to the user community (phone, email or drive-by)
  • Follow established processes, using Active Directory to reset user passwords, create/delete user accounts and assign account privileges
  • Utilize remote access tools such as DameWare, Skype for Business to resolve issues
  • Perform WebRAO duties to issue PKI certs for secure browsers
  • iPhone 6/7/8 and tablet support (set up email access)
  • Daily checks and performance monitoring to ensure system integrity, documenting and reporting alerts per established processes

Qualifications

Duties and Responsibilities:

go-bti  is looking for a Tier I Help Desk Specialist to support the Department of Energy.

Responsibilities

  • Responds to and diagnoses problems through discussion with users.
  • Ensures a timely process through which problems are controlled. Includes problem recognition, research, isolation, resolution, and follow-up steps.
  • Provides support to end-users on a variety of issues.
  • Identifies, researches, and resolves technical problems.
  • Responds to telephone calls, email and personnel requests for technical support.
  • Document user issues through the ServiceNow ticketing system and escalates as required.
  • Provides first-tier support to end-users for either PC, server, or mainframe applications or hardware.

Anticipated Duties/Tasks:

The Visa Liaison Officer provides support to the Government by performing information functions, analysis, policy development, and accountability functions and prepares letters, reports and specialized correspondence with high attention to detail and accuracy. The contractor may be assigned to any of the VO offices. A Government manager will provide day-to-day oversight and direction. The Visa Liaison Officer shall perform all duties including, but not limited to, the following:

  • Manage individual portfolios by region and/or policy The Government Managers assign portfolios and may change subjects or portfolios as required.
  • Conduct research on visa cases and policy issues by gathering information from a variety of sources, including but not limited to: visa applications, supporting documents, the internet, telephone calls, and government, commercial, FAM, and open source Write recommended findings in a clear and concise manner that summarizes the information gathered and identified during research.
  • Manage approval and clearance process of documents or deliverables
  • Draft complex correspondence, regulations, reports, and other documents for internal and external
  • Participate in consular outreach activities including, but not limited to: travel shows, professional meetings and conferences, and university events, and interagency
  • Utilize phone and email to resolve questions with applicants and
  • Data enter and look up files as required.
  • Answer and resolve inquiries from consular officers, visa applicants and their representatives or
  • Assist the Government with Congressional, Headquarters, and White House inquiries, complaints, and service

Project Manager / Washington D.C.

1 Source is looking for a Project Manager to work collaboratively with other contractors and federal staff at the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB). The major key to the success of this position is the on-time delivery of projects with effective communication to all levels of staff. Other duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Manage multiple IT Infrastructure projects in the areas of Network Operations, Cybersecurity, Active Directory, Cloud Infrastructure, Virtualization, Disaster Recovery, Data Center Migration and Hardware Deployments
  • Serve as a liaison and a leader between subject matter experts, department heads, vendors, and stakeholders
  • Build and maintain relationships with vendors, business partners, and government agency partners
  • Perform all phases of Project Management from Project Planning to managing Project Scope and managing Project Risk; while completing projects within tight time frames
  • Continuous risk management analysis to properly identify risks on-time and propose strategies, assisting improvement processes and procedures within the team
  • Researches, prioritizes, and follow through on incoming issues and concerns addressed to the CIO, including those of a sensitive or confidential nature
  • Provides documentation support, including developing/maintaining/enforcing standard operating procedures, drafting all outgoing correspondence to include letters, memorandums, and acknowledgement letters and support the development of deliverable and other project documents

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience leading the execution of IT projects in a Project Manager, Task Manager, or Coordinator role
