go-bti wins contract to support Department of Energy, Argonne National Laboratory

go-bti Consulting, Inc. was recently awarded a contract to support Argonne National Laboratory (Argonne) in Lemont, Illinois. Argonne is a major multidisciplinary research center, managed by UChicago Argonne, LLC, for the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE). The Laboratory is located in Lemont, Illinois, on a 1,500‑acre tract 28 miles southwest of Chicago. It currently employs approximately 3,600 people, including about 1,600 scientists and engineers, and hosts thousands more users at its many onsite scientific user facilities.

The Laboratory’s mission is to conduct research that supports the development of new and innovative technologies and solutions in energy, the environment, national security, and other science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) fields. Basic research covers experimental and theoretical research on fundamental problems in physical, chemical, biomedical, and environmental sciences. Applied research focuses on conceptualization, design, and testing of advanced power application technologies.
